
JoyShare Foundation officially launched on July 19, 2026, during the 2026 JoyShare Summer Festival and JoyShare Foundation Launch Ceremony held at JoyShare Food Group headquarters in Markham, Ontario.
Hosted by JoyShare Foundation and supported by JoyShare Food Group, the event welcomed more than 200 guests, including representatives from federal, provincial, and municipal government, business leaders, community partners, families, youth participants, and media representatives. The ceremony marked an important milestone for JoyShare Foundation as it begins its work supporting youth wellbeing, leadership development, volunteerism, philanthropy, and community engagement.

During the launch ceremony, JoyShare Foundation Chair Yasmine Chen introduced the foundation’s mission and vision. She shared that JoyShare Foundation is a federally registered Canadian not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping young people grow into healthy, compassionate, and responsible future community leaders.
JoyShare Foundation aims to work closely with governments, schools, businesses, families, volunteers, and community organizations to create more opportunities for youth physical and mental wellbeing, outdoor activity, healthy living, leadership development, and community service.

Government representatives and community leaders offered their congratulations and support. Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Markham Councillor Amanda Yeung Collucci attended the ceremony and recognized the foundation’s commitment to youth development and community service. Federal Member of Parliament Tim Hodgson was represented by Charlie Liu, who presented a congratulatory letter. Ontario Members of Provincial Parliament Logan Kanapathi and Billy Pang also sent congratulatory letters in support of the foundation’s official launch.
The event also included a charitable donation ceremony, with support from JoyShare Food Group, Canada-China Enterprise Overseas Service Centre, CJT Family Office, and other community partners. JoyShare Foundation expressed sincere appreciation to all donors, sponsors, and supporters who contributed to the foundation’s development.

Following the launch ceremony, guests joined the annual JoyShare Summer Festival, which featured BBQ, food vendors, live music, children’s activities, a family open house experience with United Fencing Club, and a World Cup final viewing gathering. The festival created a welcoming space for families and community members to connect, celebrate, and enjoy a vibrant summer community day.
Looking ahead, JoyShare Foundation will continue developing programs focused on youth leadership, volunteer service, healthy living, family and community engagement, education, and social impact partnerships.
